Reblog if you know this song.
I love this!
Might have to get it.
I need this based off the relevance to my life alone.
Where can I get this shirt?
Give. This. To. ME!
AWESOME!

1. The people in charge have all the answers.
That’s why they are so wealthy and happy and healthy and powerful—ask any teacher.2. Learning ends when you leave the classroom.
Your fort building, trail forging, frog catching, friend making, game playing, and drawing won’t earn you any extra credit. Just watch TV.3. The best and brightest follow the rules.
You will be rewarded for your subordination, just not as much as your superiors, who, of course, have their own rules.4. What the books say is always true.
Now go read your creationism chapter. There will be a test.5. There is a very clear, single path to success.
It’s called college. Everyone can join the top 1% if they do well enough in school and ignore the basic math problem inherent in that idea.6. Behaving yourself is as important as getting good marks.
Whistle-blowing, questioning the status quo, and thinking your own thoughts are no-nos. Be quiet and get back on the assembly line.7. Standardized tests measure your value.
By value, I’m talking about future earning potential, not anything else that might have other kinds of value.8. Days off are always more fun than sitting in the classroom.
You are trained from a young age to base your life around dribbles of allocated vacation. Be grateful for them.9. The purpose of your education is your future career.
And so you will be taught to be a good worker. You have to teach yourself how to be something more.

My bf & I being silly!

Easter Sunday (still working on my thin ends!)
It’s been almost 8 months since my last perm and a month since I got rid of those damned permed ends and I am still ridiculously happy I grew some balls and did the chop! I am in love with my hair! I can’t keep my hands off of it! I haven’t done anything creative style-wise. I’ve really just been focusing on perfecting a regimen and making sure it’s healthy, growing and not breaking!
It still doesn’t seem like I’ve developed a distinct curl pattern. But I’m not really too concerned about that yet. I can def already make out like 3 different textures/patterns though which is crazy! There’s so much to learn! I’m constantly surfing blogs and trolling youtube! But it’s still exciting and I’m happier about my decision every day!
So if you’re out there and you’re transitioning…keep going!! Don’t give up. It’s a long road but you have to enjoy the journey. I know I am!
How I felt after my workout this evening….and after my post-workout shower (and post-workout chocolate chip cookie).

THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE TRYING TO BREAK INTO NEWLY PURCHASED HOME
(NEWSER) – The Kalonji family got a nasty surprise when it tried to change the locks on its newly-purchased Georgia home last week: Their new neighbors threatened them with guns, called the police and had…
WHAT. THE. FUCK?
“Mom, listen, I haven’t been together with Topanga for 22 years, but we have been together for 16. That’s a lot longer than most couples have been together. I mean, when we were born, you told me that we used to take walks in our strollers together around the block. When we were two, we were best friends. I mean, I knew everything about this girl. I knew her favorite color, her favorite food. Then we became six, Eric made fun of me because it wasn’t cool to have a best friend that was a girl or even know a girl. So for the next seven years I threw dirt at her. I like to call those “the lost years”. Then when I was thirteen, mom, she put me up against my locker and she kissed me. I mean, she gave me my first kiss. She taught me how to dance. She always was talking about these crazy things and I never understood a word she said. All I understood was that she was the girl I sat up every night thinking about, and when I’m with her, I feel happy to be alive. Like I can do anything. Even talk to you like this. So that’s, that’s what I think is love, mom. When I’m better because she’s here.” - Cory Matthews, Boy Meets WorldALL THE FEELINGS.

Black Girls Killing It Shop BGKI NOW
This photo was taken at a grocery store where the pen to sign for credit cards was not working. It was supposed to say, “Pen is broken,” but the letters were too close together.
